We learn how to express ourselves through movement. We also encourage solo singing, all in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.
Working together in groups improve empathy, social skills, team building, and self-confidence. We build friendships to last us a lifetime.
Performance Opportunities:
Includes 2 main stage performances in December and May. Students perform either a scene from a play, monologue or musical. Varies depending on the students who register.
Don't Shy Away:
Children are able to be in class and NOT perform if they wish. If your child loves theatre but you are worried they are too shy for class: not to worry. Bring them in to observe a class for free. Coming to class a few minutes early, settling in the environment, and removing any pressure off the child is key. In a few weeks, once they are comfortable, they may surprise you - it has worked time and time again!
DRAMA (Age 13+)
We perform scenes, monologues and short plays to learn how to develop a character, project vocally and connect emotionally with a character and an audience.
